Ted Ray was the 1912 British Open champ and 1920 US Open champ.  He was also a clubmaker, and this club was modeled after a driver he once used. When working together with James Sherlock and J.H. Turner as Sherlock, Ray & Turner, the company kept records of Ray's clubs, so exact copies could be provided as requested.  Ray is possible best known for going head to head with Vardon and Ouimet in the playoff for the 1913 US Open.

Marked "Ted Ray's Own" on the top of its head, this splice neck driver has been neatly refinished and looks ready for another 100+ years!  The aluminum insert is a nice feature rarely seen on any club. The 42 1/2" shaft is original and the good grip a period replacment.
