This Tom Morris brassey nIblick has a 43.5"shaft, with its original neck whipping and sheepskin grip with repair at the base. The nicely hooked face shows substantial use and is evenly distressed across its surface. Nice original blonde finish. Head is solid and measures 5" long, 1 7/8" wide, and 1 1/4" face depth. It has a full brass sole plate and a nice head shape.

Old Tom was the Grand Old Man of Golf, and the game owes much to him. He did more than introduce new developments such as placing cups in the holes. It can be said the he was the first to live his life and embraced the game in such a way that it helped bring stature and prestige to the occupation of a golf professional as well as the game of golf itself. In the public eye, Old Tom moved the needle.
