Reverse has handwritten details of the reason for this photograph - when Vardon and Braid played a match to open The Coventry Westwood golf course. The original matted piece measures 11 3/4” x 16”. The image itself is 9 1/4” x 11 1/4”. Some discoloration to the otherwise very clear image.
