Offered here is an original 1905 pencil drawing of Old Tom Morris by J. Lessells. Drawn from life by Lessels in the lounge of the New Club in St Andrews. Tom Morris was 84 years old when this sketch was made, and is one of the only images of Old Tom to ever feature him without his trademark hat. This original pencil drawing is signed and dated by the artist - June 14, 1905. 6 1/4” x 4”, and professionally framed to 13” x 15 3/4.

This pencil drawing of Old Tom Morris was previously owned by Tom Morris biographer Peter Crabtree, and was part of his legendary collection.
