This club is called "The Animal" for a reason. It's truly a beast! This club bears Wilson's "Tournament Flag" logo and was possibly made as some type of promotional item or a tongue-in-cheek sledgehammer for The Slammer himself. Whatever it was made for, I believe Snead saw it and at least had a good laugh!

When viewing images of the club it is hard to get a feel for its dramtic oversize nature, because it is actually proportioned so well. So a 1954 Tommy Armour 945 Eye-O-Matic driver is positioned next to this club in one of the images. The 945 is famous for having about as big of a head that the best golfers like to used.  Jack Nicklaus, for example, used the 945 E-O-M when winning seven of his majors. But as can be seen in that image, Sneads Animal dwarfs Jack's favorite driver.  Words, alone don't tell the full story, which is never actually understoon until you hold this behemoth in your hands.

Sole is signed in gold sharpie by Sam Snead. The original True Temper Dynamic X 45" shaft has its original green Golf Pride rubber grip and it shows use! Head appears refinished and is in immaculate condition. Face measures 2 1/8" in depth, just over 3 1/2" from front to back. Club has an extreeeeemly strong face, made with very little loft, and it is heavy! Driver was made with no insert. Red fiber sole slip along the leading edge. I have never even heard of this club. What a fun sledgehammer! The mother of all jumbo drivers!
