Earnest H. Riseboro was born in Sherringham, England, in 1878. He began working as the pro at his hometown course in Sherringham in 1907.  He remained a fixture there for 52 years.

This brilliant putter was produced by Riseboro early in his career and would have to rate as one of the most attractive he ever offered in his shop. The large white ivorine insert is keyed in place, wider across its back than it is across the face. This helps lock the insert into place, as do the 4 wood dowels in each corner of the insert.

A treasure to behold, this putter shows little uas and its rich colors and oversize insert command attention.  The 33 3/4" bore-thru shaft is original as is leather-wrapped grip. The club was originally collected by Tip Anderson, a former employee of Arnold Palmer who solid it to the consignor.
