In 1993, Bernhard Langer won the Masters Tournament using a putter made by a little-known puttermaker named Scotty Cameron. Soon after, a bidding war erupted for Cameron's services, with Titleist being the obvious winner. And the rest, as they say, is history...
Well, after the 1993 Masters Tournament, but before Scotty Cameron signed with Titleist in 1994, Scotty Cameron made his first "victory putter" to commemorate the historic event that changed his life. 930 of these Classic I Augusta Winner putters were produced, with most randomly distributed to accounts that ordered the Classic I from Scotty. Classic I Augusta Winner putters are highly desired by collectors, and this is a rare unused example with the amazing milling found on all original examples of this model. Comes with a later Scotty Cameron studio style Titleist headcover.
