Offered here is a very rare Jerry Glynn unmarked MacGregor Ironmaster putter.
Jerry was the long-time head pro at the famed Olympia Fields in Chicago and was also a MacGregor club pro. We've seen a precious few Jerry Glynn MacGregor woods, irons and putters, but we've yet to see a Glynn putter without the MacGregor name. In reviewing a huge collection of classic clubs, we not only found this putter but some Glynn persimmon woods that are clearly MacGregor's work. For almost 30 years, a MacGregor staffer could get custom clubs, most often using the famed Tommy Armour MacGregor heads, with their name on the clubs to be sold in their pro shop. This is clearly MacGregor's work based on the shape of the blade, ferrule, green shaft, etc. This appears to be a pre-WWII club. Has what we believe is the original leather grip, in all original excellent condition, length 33" with initials stamped on the sole, most likely done at the MacGregor plant.
