"Holy Crap!"

These were Bill "Vog" Vogeney's words when he saw these clubs. While he is our Scotty Cameron expert, during a visit to our warehouse in July he stumbled upon these woods in a collection of thousands of classic and antique golf clubs.

Offered here is a 1-2-3 set of Tommy Armour Silver Scot model persimmon woods with a JUMBO driver, a full 2" deep face, much like the legendary pre-WWII BJM and BJD driver. Absolutely a custom made set with this jumbo driver, this set carries the recorded number 1310 (model number), and neutralizer necks. These also have the same black faces seen on the BJM and BJD drivers!

As Vog put it, the super deep face MacGregor drivers of the late 30's through early 1960's are almost as "hot" in the collector's market as they were 40 years ago, especially if the drivers are in original, un-refinished condition. These appear to have the original black finish, and were likely over-sprayed at one point in time, yet it does not look like the inserts or the sole plates were ever touched. Driver length 43.5" with 15 scoring lined face with original shafts and grips.
