Lot Description  

Merion Golf Club 1896-1976 was the first club history ever written about Merion Golf Club. This club history covers many important events at Merion, including the 1930 US Amateur when Bobby Jones completed the Grand Slam. It also includes the 1950 US Open, where Ben Hogan hit his legendary 1 iron en route to victory. Includes some great black and white images of Bobby Jones, President Dwight Eisenhower, and Lee Trevino.
