What a find! Offered here is an original c1910 Bushell's Cigars golf themed advertising sign. This tin lithograph embossed sign depicts a lady golfer in early 1900s period attire. There is a neat history to this sign:

Until recently there was only 1 or 2 signs known like this. The building where the signs were made (in Coshocton, Ohio) was discovered several years ago and there were about a dozen of these signs found NAILED backwards to the walls. Evidently they had been used to cover holes and beams inside the building. Hence the nail holes on every sign ever found. Also almost every sign was bent or cut to fit specific spaces. So, of the signs that were discovered many had missing parts or defects. This sign is one of the very few that is complete and showing the full lady golfer, head of the golf club, and all graphics and lettering. This specific sign has had some paint touch ups and some restoration to areas of the sign, yet you would be hard pressed to ever find another sign this complete. This sign is housed in a period styled wood billboard frame. It measures  22 1/4" wide x 30 1/4" tall.
