Curtis Strange famously scoffed at the idea of Tiger winning right away when interviewing the young Woods in 1996. Well, the golf world got its answer even faster than the most ardent Tiger Woods fans likely expected. Tiger declared pro on August 28, 1996 with his famous "Hello World" announcement. Then during the first week of October, just 5 weeks later, Tiger Woods won his 1st PGA Tour event at the '96 Las Vegas Invitational. 

Golf ticket collecting simply did not exist in 1996, which surely accounts for the rarity of this ticket. The entire PSA population shows that only 11 badges or tickets of any kind have ever been authenticated from the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational.
