Offered here is an extremely rare Scotty Cameron prototype putter-the 1998 Newport Xperimental Prototype with STERLING SILVER insert.

Vog says: in 1998, Scotty introduced the Newport Stainless slantneck and long slantneck at the PGA Show. 2500 of each model were made. The examples he made for the PGA Show had this prototype grip that did not make the final production putters. But wait - this has a sterling silver insert! At the same time, Scotty produced a limited number of stainless Newports (The Newport, Newport short slant, and long slant) for the Japanese market with sterling silver insert. This has all of the markings of the US market putters but has the insert of the Japanese putters. I've never seen or heard of another one!
