Offered here is a Scotty Cameron 1996 Buick Open Winner, Justin Leonard putter. Number 4 of 6 made with T stamp, welded neck, and oil can finish. All handstamped!

Vog says: In 1996 and at least through early summer of 1997, Scotty created either 6 (in 1996) or 7 (in 1997) putters to celebrate a victory on the PGA Tour. I was already collecting when these were made, and they've been something I enjoy adding to my collection-when I can find them!  They historically have been hard to find in the U.S. as at least half of these went to one of Scotty's former distributors in Japan, Minibox golf. For the better part of a decade, Justin Leonard used a Cameron Coronado blade with a welded plumber's neck on the PGA Tour and of course won the 1996 Buick Open with one. The putter was so popular among early collectors, it became known as the "JLM," Justin Leonard Model, and Scotty made maybe 50 to 100 "JLM" putters for the collector's market in the late 1990's, after Justin won the 97 Open Championship. That's a little background on this putter model.

Scotty stopped making these very limited victory putters in mid-1997 as the tour victories started really piling up, especially after Tiger started winning with regularity. As a fan of these victory putters, their demand has been impacted by several factors: 1. Who won the event? Obviously, the 6 Tiger victory putters are the most in demand. The 1997 Greater Greensboro Classic won by Frank Nobilo? Not as popular. 2. Is the putter a unique one? Again, the 97 Greater Greensboro is a Newport 2 Tei3, a fairly common model. This was not a stock head, but one created from a Coronado head and a welded plumber's neck. 3. Is the putter head used for the victory putter all hand stamped, or a stock head? This Buick Open winner was a JLM model-a tour head, and is all hand stamped. I look at this as one of the more popular models. So much so I have one in my collection - and it took me the better part of 20 years to find one! And I am still actively looking for the right victory putters!

Condition is 9.0 of 10 with just some finish wear to the sole, 35" with Cameron Pebble grip.
