Vog says: Scottydale is a name Scotty has used on special putters going back to the 15 to 20 special grind Classic I's he made for the tour in 1993/1994. He resurrected the name on the famous 1996 Scottydale Project X-SLC he made for Japan and was used by Tiger to capture his first two tour victories. Based on the popularity of that putter Scotty again used the Scottydale name on this putter. Project X means E(X)perimental. SLC are the initials of Scotty's oldest daughter. ETW is Eldrick Tiger Woods. Has Scotty's now discontinued Black Star finish.
