Offered here is a 1993 Scotty Cameron "Master's Choice" Classic I, with Cameron/G. Loomis putter shaft. Number 67 out of 250 made....with a cool story too.

Vog says: Wow! I last saw this putter 25 years ago. I was at the 1999 or 2000 PGA Show on the hunt for Cameron putters. At the time, this putter was out of reach for me financially. In walking around the show, I ran into someone else who had a Masters Choice for sale as well....with the same number: 67 of 250. A mystery immediately developed, 2 putters both stamped 67!! Scotty later cleared it up. Apparently this was the original #67, and when he was stamping the number on the sole, he stamped it deeply enough that the metal on the flange (opposite side of the sole) was raised up every so slightly. Enough that it could be seen up close and could possibly be seen from address. While not specifically discussed, I sensed Scotty set this aside and took an extra head he had made just for this purpose-in case of a damaged head-and stamped that 67. This likely sat on a shelf until one day he pulled it out, and decided to lightly bead blast the topline, shoulders and flange to minimize the flaw, and eventually the putter hit the collector's market in the U.S. Mystery #2, which at the time was never a thought, is the Piece of Time logo. Piece of Time was one of Scotty's original resellers of his early handmade and pre-Titleist putters. Any of Scotty's putters with the logo have been graded as a "C" by the authentication service as Scotty has said he did not do the logo on the putters and was supposedly done by Piece of Time.  If Scotty set this head aside and went back and fixed it, why would it have the Piece of Time logo on it? That said, I have a couple of putters with the Piece of Time logo on them and it's never stopped me from buying the right putter!

Condition: Excellent 9.0 of 10, with the original grip and shaft, never refinished. Includes a Scotty Cameron NOS "Milled Putters" cover. 35"
