Offered here is a rare original photograph of Jack Nicklaus on the golf course during his PGA Tour debut at 1962 LA Open. The 21-year-old Jack Nicklaus famously made his professional debut at the '62 LA Open, finishing t-50th and winning a whopping $33.33 in prize money. Last year, a portrait photograph of Nicklaus taken the same day as this photo was taken, sold for over $5,000. This is an incredibly rare action photograph of Nicklaus during his debut on the PGA Tour. 

Type 1 original photographs have exploded in popularity in recent years, with dozens of photos from other sports selling for six figure sums, as well as multiple Mickey Mantle photographs selling for $1 million. Golf collecting typically lags behind other sports, but offered here is a rare chance to own an original Type 1 photograph from Jack Nicklaus' PGA Tour debut.
