Offered here is a Scotty Cameron Cameron & Co. GSS Newport Longneck putter. Brushed GSS with a welded long neck with diamond shaped snow.
Let's have Vog tell us everything he knows about this one!
Vog Says: Gosh, where do I start? A Longneck GSS? There's maybe a handful or two in the last 25 years of the GSS, and 20 years since the 009 style Newport design. Diamond snow on the flange? Snow on a putter Scotty made in the early 90's is rare - for a putter made in 2010? Again, maybe he made a handful that year. Great dancing letters on the face. The ampersand stamp? Scotty only used this on a precious few GSS putters, typically on a putter he stamped Cameron and Co(mpany) inspired by Tiffany and Company. The stamp seems to have been used for a year or so at most, and then seemingly retired. We won't likely see it again. The Cami Co stamping? Short for Cameron and Company, and inspired by his sister whose nickname was "Cammie." It has an exotic leather emu grip, and Tiffany Blue headcover. The date on the COA is a sign it was one of 8 to 10 very special putters Scotty made for the PGA Show, where in that era, the best of the best collectors showed up hoping to get a true one of a kind putter, and each year Scotty worked hard to make putters even more stunning than the ones he made the prior year. In short, this putter has so many unique aspects it's hard to imagine we'll ever seen anything this good coming from the studio again."
This example is unused in near mint/mint condition, 9.8/10. 34".
