This early 1900s O'Hara Dial 1/2 liter stein is a brilliant example of craftsmanship, complete with a porcelain inlay recessed into its pewter lid. The stein’s unique design is highlighted by its distinctly unusual shape, with an extra-wide base and a beautifully hand-painted golfing scene that wraps around the mug in rich shades of green.

O'Hara Dial collaborated with the renowned Ceramic Arts Company of Trenton, N.J., to create their porcelain pieces, resulting in artistry comparable to Lenox steins. O'Hara then crafted the pewter lids with porcelain inlays and securely affixed them to the mugs. The lid of this stein features the word “Hoch!”—German for “Hooray!” or “Hurray!”—used in toasts and celebrations.

The hinge operates smoothly and flawlessly. The stein is in beautiful condition, making it a standout piece for any collector or enthusiast of early 20th-century porcelain and hand-painted artistic craftsmanship.
