Produced in the late 1920s by the U.S. Golf Manufacturing Company of Westfield, Massachusetts, this Gold Standard brassie and spoon feature USGMC's Gold Standard shaft.  This creation consisted of a steel core surrounded by hickory enclosed in bamboo.  This layered construction is visible in the tip of the shaft exposed on the sole.

Both shafts still have their original Gold Standard decal and the heavy braided neck and grip whipping.  The grip is distinct—a single piece of leather shrunk around the shaft. 

The face of each club has a colorful fancy face insert.  The brassie measures 43 1/2 inches. Nice all original condition.
