Stamped "Special Gourlay Putter, Regd 10746" etc. on the back of the blade, this c. 1910 offset blade putter has its 34" shaft and an old leather wrap grip. The head has a unique design, with the hosel connected only to the base of the blade at its heel. This frees up the heel side of the blade and gives the face a clean, strong look. Highly attractive flower pattern face scoring. The lettering on the back of the blade is worn, but part of Huddersfield and Warranted Hand Forged can still be made out.
