Offered here is a 1925 first edition of The Autobiography of an Average Golfer by O.B. Keeler. Keeler, an Atlanta sportswriter, covered Bobby Jones closer than any other writer in the era. He witnessed all 13 of Bobby’s major victories and traveled over 120,000 miles on the road with Jones as he pursued the pinnacle of the sport. While Keeler described himself as just an “average golfer”, his knowledge of the game and ability to write was well past his playing ability. This example is in Good condition with original dust jacket. Listed by Gilchrist's Guide to Golf Collectibles (in 2004) at $650.
