Here’s a club that has been around the block! Made by Old Tom Morris, this play club bears major battle scars.  The face has a leather repair out on the toe, and the top of the head is cracked, with the crack, albeit a discreet crack, running from the toe repair, through the name, to the back of the head directly above the heel end of the lead. In addition, the 44” shaft is marked “G.B. Cooper, Maker,” so it has been reshafted when it was in use.  Even so, this is still a Tom Morris long nose clubhead, and after all is said and done it presents well even if it shows its age.  This is not an expensive club, but it does have an honest character and the pedigree of an old warrior.
