The Back of the head on this attractive niblick is stamped "Arnaud Massy" in larger script and "J. Lillywhite Frowd & Co. London." Head is also marked with the star cleekmark of Wm Gibson. Original 36 1/2 " shaft also stamped "Lillywhite Frowd & Co." Original leather wrap grip.
Arnaud Massy won 20 professional events including various French, Spanish, and British Open titles. His victory in the 1907 Open Championship remains as the only time that one of the four major championships was won by a Frenchman.
