Back in 2009, we had the privilege of being involved in a great Perry Maxwell find. In a house once owned by celebrated golf course architect Perry Maxwell, his old file cabinet was discovered. That file cabinet was filled with Maxwell's personal photographs of golf courses he designed or restored/renovated.

Offered here are 6 of those original photographs owned by (and presumably taken by) Perry Maxwell of Augusta National Golf Club. Maxwell redesigned/renovated 11 holes at Augusta National in 1937 and 1938. These are photographs from that renovation.

These rare original Perry Maxwell photographs are Augusta National measures 5 3/4" x 3 1/2", and include the following:

1. Hole 13 Amen Corner, from fairway to green

3. Hole 10 Greenside right bunkering

4. Hole 8 with Hole 2 at left

5. Hole 17 green & mound, bunkering at left
