The head and shaft of this driver are made from a single, solid piece of wood.  There is no neck joint.  The club appears to be little used.  The face insert, horn, and lead back weight are original. 

The head and face on this club are beautifully crafted. The head is stamped "BGI Co" with their rampant lion trademark. The shaft is also stamped BGI up near the grip which is the original sheepskin. There is light wear on the leading edge of the horn, and that’s about it.  Shaft measures 44 inches. Club is in outstanding original condition.
