This shapely circa 1910s Alex Patrick "The Robbie" putter features a two-level wood head with a soft lead alloy face held in place by four screws. Original 34 ½” shaft and original leather wrap grip which is square where it receives the golfer’s hands. The weight of the club is stamped on the sole. The lead alloy provided the golfer with a soft feel when contacting the ball.
The Patrick family was the second-oldest Scottish family firm in the clubmaking business, behind the McEwans.
