Offered here is an incredible example of the famous Scotty Cameron Art of Putting Classic I. Black star finish.

According to Bill Vogeney, our resident Scotty Cameron expert, there's a reason he and his co-author David Levine chose this putter in 2001 to be on the cover of their book on Scotty - it was the most gorgeous Cameron they had seen at the time. One of 300 made, most of these went to Japan as they were released at a time Scotty was not well-known to golfers in the United States. In fact, several of these were used on tour including by the Japanese great player, Shigeki Maruyama. Vog says many of these were used in general, so finding one in this condition is very difficult. While the Cameron studio offered to restore these for almost 15 years in the original finish, the black star finish was not quite the same (closer to Cameron's charcoal mist says Vog) and the milling was not even close to the original-making an all-original one a "must" for prospective collectors.

All original condition with original Brunswick black powder coated steel shaft (not graphite as many people believe) with original grip. Includes "NOS" Scotty Cameron green Milled Putters cover. 35" Appears to be unused but we grade this a 9.5 out of 10 as the finish is very susceptible to scratches from gentle handling.
