Here it is, the most iconic modern golf photograph - Ben Hogan's 1 iron shot at Merion in the 1950 U.S. Open. This is an exceedingly rare vintage photograph that is autographed by Ben Hogan. A vast majority of the time when we find an autographed copy of this image it is either a poster or a more modern 1990s photograph. The offered example is a vintage photograph, which we believe enhances the appeal of this example. Also included with this vintage Ben Hogan autographed vintage 1 iron at Merion photograph is an original letter on Ben Hogan letterhead from his secretary setting the record straight that this shot was indeed with a 1 iron.
