Less than 2 years after shocking the world by winning the 1913 US Open, Francis Ouimet accomplished another seemingly impossible feat - he won 2 important Opens in the same week! As reported by American Golfer magazine in June 1915, Ouimet won the Open Invitation Tournament at Baltimore Country Club on May 10-12, 1915. Then starting the following day 400 miles away, Ouimet competed in (and again won) the Spring Tournament at The Country Club at Brookline from May 13-16.

Two important Open tournament victories, 400 miles apart, in 6 straight days of competition.

It's no wonder that this colossal trophy representing his important victory at Baltimore Country Club was a cherished part of Ouimet's personal collection during his life. This trophy famously held a place of honor on the fireplace mantel in Ouimet's home in Wellesley, MA throughout Francis Ouimet's life. This trophy was photographed alongside Francis Ouimet in his iconic 1951 photograph in his red jacket when he was became the first American to be named Captain of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.

Stunning, large trophy from one of Francis Ouimet's most important victories. And photo matched to the most iconic post-1913 photo of Francis Ouimet. 22 3/8" tall, 6 1/2" diameter base, 7 5/8" wide. 6 pounds.
