Offered here is a stunning 1903 Sterling Silver and Leather trophy flask. Presented as a trophy in October 1903 at Hillandale Golf Club. Engraved on the silver portion with golf tournament details on one side, and a crossed clubs and flag enameled color logo on the other. Hallmarked Sterling Silver. The Gorham makers mark on the bottom, along with the 3 small arrows in a triangle, date this piece to 1898. Impressively, as shown in picture 2, the silver portion on the bottom of the flask can be removed to serve as a drinking cup. Genius! 6 3/8" tall. 1/2 pint.
