"Hello World"

With those two words, the most promising amateur golfer the world has ever seen announced himself as a professional golfer for the first time. A day later he made his professional debut at the 1996 Greater Milwaukee Open.

Offered here is a rare original full unused ticket (not a ticket stub) from Tiger Woods' pro debut at the '96 Milwaukee Open. The original owner of this ticket apparently never used it to see Tiger Woods at his professional debut, but that adds to its collectibility nearly 3 decades later.

Professional “Debut” tickets are often among the most sought after and valuable tickets in the hobby. Debut tickets of Michael Jordan and Jackie Robinson have each sold for over $400,000, and debut tickets of other “Goats” like Wayne Gretzky and Mickey Mantle have also sold for six figures. Ticket collecting (other than Masters Badges) is brand new to the golf hobby. It’s easy to envision a future where a ticket to Tiger’s first tournament on the PGA Tour is worth significantly more in the coming years.
