Offered here is a 2000-2001 era Scotty Cameron Tour Del Mar 3.5/Inspired by Sergio Garcia with welded longneck for Nick Price.

Vog says: This is one of those amazing tour putters from the "deep South" collection. Nick Price had quite a few putters made for him by Scotty (I have two in my personal collection with his name or initials on them) and this is a very unusual one. As I have pointed out on other lots from this collection, we have some documentation/provenance on many of these putters in the form of multiple letters with detailed descriptions of the putters our consignor was buying 25 years ago. On the letter from the distributor, he stated Nick wanted one of these putters with a long neck-it normally had a pinched flow neck attached to the extreme heel. That had way too much toe flow for Nick. In the letter he said Scotty was out of the original 200 Xperimental Prototype Del Mar 3.5 heads (a model used by Darren Clarke to defeat Tiger in the match play event at LaCosta in the early 2000's) so he had to use one of the Inspired by Sergio heads to make this. It all makes sense-that original prototype model was very popular among players like Nick Faldo and Sergio on top of Darren Clarke-and he made only 200. He made 5,000 of the Inspired by Garcia and probably had a few extra heads in case of putters damaged in the engraving and finishing process. We will also provide a copy of the distributor's letter from almost 25 years ago to the winning bidder, on top of the new COA.

Length is 33.5, Golf Pride grip, grade 9 out of 10, excellent slightly used.
