Offered here is an early (1993) pre-Titleist Scotty "Scott" Cameron hand made putter made for "Shark."

Vog says: This is another putter from the "Deep South" collection. It has an old school letter of authenticity from Scotty (circa 1998) that says Greg Norman used it in several PGA Tour events in 1993. Also, Scotty replaced the shaft with a Bullseye shaft on Greg's request. I first saw this putter around 1997 at the PGA Show at the display of Dalton Daves, a former long-time distributor of Scotty's tour putters. Dalton also featured it in his book, Putters of Distinction, where he described it as having a hand patina finish as Greg did not like the shiny black look. Note the new COA lists the finish as black oxide-that's incorrect.

This is an unusual look: it has some old school milling on the face; I was surprised it was made as recently as 1993 because the few I've seen with similar milling actually show other signs of being made in perhaps 1990 or 1991. The neck is also one you won't see on many other handmades as well. There are not many putters that have the provenance of this putter-it's a perfect putter to own if you're into Scotty's history.

Length is 35" condition is 8 out of 10, taking into consideration the hand patina finish, includes a burgundy nylon Scotty Cameron vintage Milled Putters cover. We will provide the old letter of authenticity to the winning bidder along with the new COA.
