Vog says: The original oil can models have become notorious for the finish "aging" or rusting quickly. Even unused examples often have oxidation unless their owners were careful about storage. This putter is all original, has never been restored, and has some of the gorgeous fine milling found on these putters. More and more people are collecting near mint/mint examples of these; this finish has been discontinued by Scotty, existing putters won't be restored in this, and the original oil cans have the most remarkable gold and purple hues in it.
