This lot consists of the club on the far right in the group image: A miniature Spalding driver, complete with lead backweight, sole slip, and leather wrap grip measures 13" in length.  The “The Spalding” mark stamped on the head was used on some of Spalding’s clubs made between 1897-1900. These tiny masterpieces were thought to be created by clubmakers to demonstrate their skill.  When examining this club, along with the other miniatures in this auction, the viewer will see that the clubs are crafted to the exact same standards and shapes as the full size models.  Amazing!

The club on the far left in the group picture is a full size play club made by Tom Morris, also offered in this auction. It is shown for perspective.

All of the miniature clubs, juvenile clubs, and walking sticks offered in this auction were collected by a single individual. This collector spent many years acquiring as many of these clubs and sticks as possible, ultimately building an impressive collection the likes of which most collectors have never seen.  Terrific collection that can be displayed in a very small space and will look great even in a professional office setting.
