This lot consists of the early 1900s wooden cleek second club from the left in the group picture.  This juvenile cleek wood by Chas Mayo is designed for for a young golfer somewhere around 8-10 years old. It measures 32 1/4"in length and has its original leather wrapped grip. The transitional-style club has a full brass soleplate and a well-lofted, cross-scored face. The original finish still looks good.

In the accompanying close up images, one can see how accurate and to scale each clubhead is. This club looks like an adult size club, and is made to the same standards using the same materials.

The club on the far left is an adult-size play club made by Tom Morris, also offered in this auction. It is shown for perspective.

All of the miniature clubs, juvenile clubs, and walking sticks offered in this auction were collected by a single individual. This collector spent many years acquiring as many of these clubs and sticks as possible, ultimately building an impressive collection the likes of which most collectors have never seen.
