Coal was used to heat many Scottish homes during the early 1900s and before. Cast iron stoves were used for both heating and cooking. A short coal stove poker could come in handy, especially if the stove was smaller. This one measures 12" in length and is marked "Warranted Hand Forged, Rustless, Mashie" and has a dot punch face. Golf club pokers like this one are actually quite rare. Outstanding!
