Offered here is a truly historic 1931 membership invitation document from the recently formed Augusta National Golf Club. This original document is a "Preliminary Draft" from Augusta National's Organization Committee in New York. It even pre-dates golf course construction. The Organization Committee at the time consisted of 5 founding members, including Bobby Jones, Clifford Roberts, and Grantland Rice.

Ever wonder how much it costs to join Augusta National? Well, we now know that to become a founding member in 1931, the initiation fee was $350, and the annual dues were $60.
