Offered here is a piece of Scotty Cameron art-a M-5 GSS mallet with unique stamping and milling.
We turned to our resident Cameron putter expert, Bill "Vog" Vogeney for what he thought about this putter.
Vog says: Wow, wow, wow. Scotty did not make many of the M-5 mallet in coveted GSS (German Stainless Steel). I had seen these unique machined marks on the sole before, but I'm not sure I've seen the marks on the flange! It has a really one-of-a-kind look, and the putter just screams "Scotty made me personally!" To top all this off, check out the hand stamped symbols around the edge of the flange. I have not seen this on another modern Cameron putter; while even a well-versed Cameron collector might say this was a modern look, Scotty actually toyed with perhaps a handful (truly less than 5) mallets for the tour in 1996-and I own one and owned the other a decade ago. That's the cool thing about Scotty-if he gets in the mood to create, he might renew an idea he had decades ago on a special putter like this. While this putter has been used, I believe its uniqueness still make it collector grade!
Condition is 9 out of 10, excellent used, with minor marks on the face and sole plate, and a few flaws on the topline finish likely from the velcro on the headcover. 34" length, black shaft, Tiffany Blue paint fill and used Cameron Tiffany Blue circle T headcover.
