President Ford signed Augusta Scorecard

   United States Presidents and golf have long been an interesting pair.  While many Presidents have enjoyed the game of golf, President Gerald Ford may have been the most enamored by it.  Unfortunately, despite his passion for the game, President Ford is well-known for being a rather average golfer.  Word of his hitting spectators in the gallery with his errant drives was commonplace in newspapers headlines of the day, much to the chagrin of the President.
