1942 Masters Ticket
Presented here is a rare
ticket from the 1942 Masters Tournament, which was won by Byron Nelson.
This ticket allowed its patron access to the Monday practice round for a
whopping $1.11. All Masters tickets from before the tournament went to the
more durable badges in 1961 are hard to find. But pre-World War II tickets
are virtually unheard of. What makes this badge even more amazing is that it contains one of the lowest numbers of any pre-war Masters ticket we've ever seen - #155. And it's hard to imagine that many 1942 Masters Tickets still exist that are even close to this outstanding condition after 66
years. Truly an amazing piece of golf memorabilia.
