Green Augusta National Used Flag

      Presented here is one of the most sought-after course-used golf flags in the world.  Augusta National has never sold a replica flag in its pro shop.  Therefore, the only way to get an authentic Augusta National flag is to get one that was actually used on the course.  Like all items that come from Augusta National, this is easier said than done.  While your local golf course might oblige if you ask them nicely for a spare flag or offer to pay for its replacement, clearly this doesn't exactly work at Augusta National.  Members themselves are often turned away when inquiring about getting a used flag for a guest.  To make matters even worse, Augusta has been known to destroy the used flags at the end of the season. 

    Two different flags are used at Augusta National.  Both are difficult to obtain, but this Green Augusta National flag is virtually impossible to find.  The yellow Augusta National flag can be found throughout the 18 hole course and 9 hole Par 3 course; however, only a handful of the Green Augusta flags are used - 4 on the practice chipping green and 2 are used in the United States-shaped flower beds in front of the clubhouse.
