Rare Jack Nicklaus Prototype Test Golf Balls

       Presented here are two different sleeves of rare prototype golf balls that were made for Jack Nicklaus.  Prominent PGA Tour stars like Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus do not play a standard store bought golf ball.  Nor do they play with the slightly different tour issued balls that so many professionals use.  Players like Jack Nicklaus have their own balls made to their own specifications.  Presented here are two rare prototype "test" golf balls made for Jack Nicklaus.  The balls are only marked with a red or black dot so as to act as a blind test for Nicklaus.  For instance, one of these balls might have a slightly harder cover, or be compressed in a different way.  Nicklaus then plays with the balls and reports back on which ball he prefers.  This is a multi-step process which results in a ball made to the exact specifications of Jack Nicklaus. 

        Obviously, these prototype balls are not sold to the public, and rarely make it into collector's hands.  This here is a rare complete prototype golf ball set from one of the greatest golfers of all time, Jack Nicklaus.
