1934 Masters Program
1967 Masters Contestant's
Pin
This is
an item that doesn't come along too often. This is an actual contestant's pin
from the 1967 Masters Tournament. For those who don't know, Master's
contestant's pins and the caddie uniforms are numbered and given out in the
order in which the players arrive and register. The only number that remains
constant is the number 1, which is given to the previous year's Champion
regardless of his registration. The numbers can easily be traced to a
particular player by looking at a daily Pairings sheet from that year's Masters
Tournament.
This
contestant's pin belonged to 1960 PGA Championship winner Jay Hebert, and is in
great condition.
