Gene Sarazen's Personal 1978 Masters Annual

            In 1979, Augusta National Golf Club started producing Masters Annuals each year.   That first year they produced a retrospective book entitled "Masters-The First Forty Years", and also produced the first single-year Masters Journal for the previous year's tournament. This 1978 Masters Annual is the first of the dated annuals, and Augusta National has been publishing an annual ever since.

            This particular 1978 Masters Annual was personally owned by the great Gene Sarazen.  It is in mint condition, and comes with a letter from our consignor, a prominent golf historian and collector who was hired by the Sarazen family to help sell some of the golfer's memorabilia after his passing.
