1955 Masters Pairings Sheet

        As anyone who has attended the Masters knows, Augusta National provides each spectator with free pairings sheets letting everyone know what time each player is teeing off.  In fact, this practice was invented by Augusta National.  Presented here is a very early Masters Pairings Sheet - from the final round of the 1955 Masters Tournament, which was won by Cary Middlecoff.  This pairings sheet is from Sunday, April 10, 1955.  Vintage Masters pairings sheets are rare for a basic reason - as you can imagine, not many of these simple pieces of paper were saved for the last 60 years.
