1925 U.S. Amateur Contestant's Badge (Bobby Jones' 3rd Major)

Presented here is an actual contestant's badge from the 1925 U.S. Amateur, which was held at famed Oakmont. As you already know, Bobby Jones won this tournament to secure his 3rd Major Championship victory. Memorabilia from Bobby Jones' major championship victories are very rare and routinely sell for thousands of dollars. Less than 200 of these contestant's badges existed in 1925; how many are still around? Surely only a handful. Even more spectacularly, this contestant's badge still contains the original celluloid tag which represents the player that it was assigned to. We don't know which player that was, but we know it was issued to one of the men who fruitlessly attempted to stop Bobby Jones in winning yet his 3rd Major.
