1938 U.S. Amateur Contestant Badge

        Very early Major Championship contestant's badges are virtually impossible to come by. In this auction, we are very fortunate to offer pieces of a stunning collection of these great pieces of memorabilia - some of which have never been offered for sale to the public.

        This very badge was issued to one of the 150 or so golfers that participated in the 1938 U.S. Amateur, which was won by the great Willie Turnesa at famed Oakmont Country Club. This is a great opportunity to obtain an early piece of Oakmont and major championship memorabilia.
