The Ryder Cup
1933 U.S. Amateur Contestant Badge
Very early Major Championship contestant's badges are virtually impossible to
come by. In this auction, we are very fortunate to offer pieces of a stunning
collection of these great pieces of memorabilia - some of which have never been
offered for sale to the public.
This very badge was issued to one of the 150 or so golfers that participated in
the 1933 US Amateur, which was won by George Dunlap at Kenwood County Club.
Since only about 150 of these badges existed 77 years ago, surely only a handful
still remain. This particular badge remains in excellent condition.
